Frozen strawberries, chilled coconut-milk beverage and pure maple syrup blend into a creamy, fruit-forward smoothie in five minutes. The final tested formula pours with body, stays evenly blended for at least five minutes and makes two light servings with no unnecessary extras.

Bright strawberries, a softly creamy coconut base and a measured touch of maple syrup make this smoothie feel generous without asking much of you. It uses three ingredients, comes together in five minutes and pours with enough body to feel satisfying while staying light and fresh.

Why This Recipe Works

Frozen strawberries do two jobs at once: they bring the fruit and chill the mixture while creating a thicker texture than fresh berries would on their own. Unsweetened boxed coconut-milk beverage adds creaminess and a gentle coconut note without the richness of canned coconut milk. Maple syrup rounds out the berries with a clean sweetness that blends instantly.

The proportions matter. This version was tested to pour steadily while retaining body, with no visible separation after five minutes. The tested three-ingredient base needs no ice or banana to achieve its creamy texture, although the original recipe offered vanilla, banana and ice cubes as optional add-ins.

Three Ingredients, Each With a Job

  • Frozen strawberries provide color, bright fruit flavor and the smoothie’s cold, creamy structure.
  • Unsweetened boxed coconut-milk beverage gives the blender enough liquid to move while keeping the finished drink smooth. Use the beverage-style carton, not canned coconut milk.
  • Pure maple syrup softens the natural tartness of the fruit without hiding it.

Getting the Texture Right

Add the liquid first so it reaches the blades, then add the frozen strawberries and maple syrup. Blend on high until no visible berry pieces remain, stopping once to scrape down the sides if needed. The finished smoothie should move easily into the glass but still hold a soft, creamy shape at the surface.

If your blender has a narrower jar or less power, pause and scrape rather than adding a large splash of liquid immediately. A small adjustment can help the blades catch; too much will quickly turn this tested balance into a thin drink.

Thoughtful Swaps

Another unsweetened plant milk can replace the coconut beverage, although the flavor and body will change. Oat milk creates a mellow, slightly fuller result; almond or soy milk makes the coconut note disappear. Keep the frozen fruit, liquid and sweetener amounts unchanged the first time so you can judge the new version fairly before adjusting it.

The recipe is naturally vegan and uses ingredients that are ordinarily gluten-free, but anyone cooking for an allergy or medical need should check the labels on the coconut beverage and maple syrup for their own requirements and cross-contact concerns.

Serve It Fresh

This smoothie is at its best straight from the blender, when it is coldest and most evenly blended. Pour it into two small glasses for a light breakfast or snack, or enjoy the full batch when you want something more substantial. For a little contrast, serve it beside toast, oats or a handful of nuts and seeds rather than adding more ingredients to the blender.

A Five-Minute Win

Recipes this simple earn their place by being dependable. Keep frozen strawberries on hand, chill the coconut-milk beverage and you are never more than a few minutes from something vivid, creamy and genuinely good to drink.
